Texas got a grad transfer WR who played at Michigan last night, Tarik Black. He has two years after he files for a hardship waiver after this coming season. Don't know too much about him.

He only played three games before he broke his foot in 2017, 2018 he played just three games (also injured), first year of the 4 and under games play to keep RS rule. Played 2019. So he can apply a medical hardship for the season he lost in 2017 after this coming season.

I don’t remember the last time a 5 star recruit had an attitude bad enough that the top schools didn’t want him. If Kirby and Saban pass on a 5 star RB, that should be a huge red flag to all other schools

ugh..it's gonna be a bad season for TCu as well.. OL gonna be in rebuild year..QB who still can't throw for shit.. He's gonna get the rock a lot.. so I say he gets over 600 yards but hits the portal in January.. to Blinn College

I'm wondering how the QB situation is gonna sort itself out down there. I'm rooting for Matt Baldwin to get in there a bit, he seems like a great kid and a solid prospect, but who knows?

I will always like the kid for telling TExas he was out early, let the staff concentrate on Bijan that much more. But yes, Clemson didn't offer him, Saban bowed out early in the process as well. Only schools that seemed ready to take him was FL, TN and ole miss. But TCU makes sense since they also "cater" to guys like him.

Kid has huge red flags.. like fighting his HS coach, Treating his momma like shit since he pays her cell phone.. This won't end up pretty since Patterson is an enabler type of dude

I forgot Baldwin was there but that's a bad sign for him.. they haven't hit on any QB since Boykin left..and it's not like they didn't recruit highly rated guys either

The fact that Jimbo never had problems taking anyone with flags or issues yet didn't have a spot for Evans is crazy too. Either Zach never wanted to be there or Jimbo said no.

TCU is remarkable in a sense that he went on the record and stated he was going somewhere that competed for Championships, good OL and have a history of NFL RB draft picks.. tcu checks none of those boxes

FWIW, Texas Mod is saying that Zach reached out to Texas back in March to see if they would take him. Thought maybe Stan Drayton could mentor him, but at the end they decided it would be best he go elsewhere. TN and OleMiss said the same thing FWIW. If this has any truth in it, hopefully this is the wakeup call he needed. To be the consensus #1/#2 RB in 2020 with offers from everywhere to only end up in FTW..wow.

I'm afraid TCU just wasted a schooly...if they even did. Unless he's had a huge "maturing epiphany", I'm betting he doesn't even make it to enrollment date much less play a down at TCU.

May have to be Last Chance U. Not sure Blinn would even take him.

But, from my 40 years of experience in education, kids have to hit rock bottom before that "wakeup call" phone rings. Being at any P5 school...even not the elite ones...is going to continue to allow him to think he's beyond reproach because of the attention. He needs to be exiled to a place like Sul Ross State University where he gets zero national attention to wake up IMHO.
