"For the first time in the internet rankings era, Wisconsin has signed five-star prospects in back-to-back recruiting classes.

On Tuesday, UW offensive tackle signee Jack Nelson (Stoughton, Wis.) was named a five-star prospect by 247sports. Nelson follows Logan Brown (Grand Rapids, Mich.) in the 2019 recruiting class as consecutive five-star prospects to play for the Badgers."

Only the 5th 5-star in our history. It may take a bit yet, but Wisky is on the move. Our 2021 class is ranked 6th at the moment.

11 of them are either going to Clemson or Georgia.

They moved some guys around. Our WR moved up, and Stroud moved from 90 something to 29. Apparently, some Clemson guys most have got knocked?

Just going thru the rankings, it appears most of the Clemson commits in the rivals top rankings dropped. I don't take this stuff too seriously either way, but I really don't understand how you can drop guys so much after very little has happened since the last rankings released. There were a few all-star games i guess, but that's probably about it.

Hell one guy, RJ Mickens a safety out of Texas, missed most of the season due to injury. He dropped over 60 spots in the last rankings. What changed since the last couple rerankings?

Yeah, I think all that happened was all star stuff. IDK...I guess that even if one guy only dropped slightly, but in all three services, he could have a "significant" composite drop.

4 star RB Daijuan Edwards commits to UGA.

That gives us two RBs in the class, so hopefully shuts down the Zachary Evans rumors.

I've noticed over the years that recruits rankings frequently drop a little after Clemson signs them. Go figure.

Added 4* OL Marcus Henderson over Ole Miss and then 4* QB Malik Hornsby to finish at #29. Hell of a job from Pittman since we were #118 a few months ago.
