I am in favor of both leagues being the same. If force to make a choice I would say DH, but the NL rule is good too.

HOFer connie mack was right

He grew weary of watching Eddie Plank and Charles Bender flail at pitches when at bat. Mack's proposal received little support and was even lambasted by the press as "wrong theoretically". The notion did not die. In the late 1920s, National League president John Heydler made a number of attempts to introduce a 10th-man designated hitter as a way to speed up the game, and almost convinced National League clubs to agree to try it during spring training in 1929.

and he is right still

You wanna prove your mighty prowess with a bat at 50 years old? Go take some swings in the batting cages. Men are baseballing on NL fields.

baseball
[beys-bawl]
noun
  1. a game of ball between two nine-player teams played usually for nine innings on a field that has as a focal point a diamond-shaped infield with a home plate and three other bases, 90 feet (27 meters) apart, forming a circuit that must be completed by a base runner in order to score, the central offensive action entailing hitting of a pitched ball with a wooden or metal bat and running of the bases, the winner being the team scoring the most runs.

I prefer the DH and if baseball said both leagues will be the same I'm calling fo the DH, but I'm good with current setup.

Baseball's killer app is quirkiness and variety. Fans like the fact that every park is different and there's no game clock . I prefer both DH rules so you get variety. Otherwise why not make every park the same?

I love park uniqueness, I would just like consistency in the DH rule (but that's my opinion ... hence the poll)

The AL Rule for me. Time has come for the same thing in both leagues.

I’m good with it until the World Series.

I want uniformity on the biggest stage. DH in the World Series.

DH changes roster construction. Making the WS DH only is stupid.

The only way I would be OK with the DH is if you link the DH to the pitcher. If you take out the pitcher, you need a new DH as well. If you PH for the DH, the pitcher must be changed as well. That at least to some extent keeps some of the strategy and roster construction that is the NL alive. The DH game is so dull. The complexities completely evaporate.

The complexities are laughably overrated by nl people

Expand on that thought. Easy to call anything overrated without explanation.

Hell just last week in back to back games, Braves faced a similar situation in a one run game in the 5th inning with runners on and the pitcher's spot due. Somehow or another our retarded manager stuck with the pitcher when he should have pinch hit and used a pinch hitter when he should have stuck with the guy throwing a one hit shutout.

Maybe your manager needs a DH.

When your manager was the AAA manager before he became the MLB manager and he still treats it like the minors, he's gonna look stupid no matter the rules. I wish our cocaine addicted third base coach was the manager.
