We really don't have any tackles beyond the starters (if you want to call Hart a starter)... I think there are a lot of options at guard but tackle is thin. And it's not like teams cut good tackles. The Williams injury hurt. I think Tits is insurance but I suspect if he's in shape he'll stick around.

This is what happens when you employ 2 scouts. Everytime someone goes down, the Bengals always come back to the same handful of spares as replacements. For the sake of familiarity.

That said, Smith at least at one point was a serviceable player. He’s likely better than Bobby Hart who for some reason is still a starter. It is what it is at this point. The Bengals were screwed the moment Jonah Williams’ shoulder exploded.

Maybe one these offseasons they’ll realize there is this thing called free agency, and you can’t pin the hopes for the season on a single 1st round rookie.
