Is he any good at catching the ball?
If the Pats want a guy that will force team to respect the run and take the pressure off the passing game, this is the guy. If the Pats Oline can open holes for Blount to rip off 78 yard TD runs, they can open them up for CJ. As pointed out the price needs to be right, but CJ has to know his time in the NFL is winding down and he needs to play to win, not be part of a rebuild like the Jets.
The Pats find good UDFA RBs so maybe they get the bruiser that way.
We don't need him to block.
