Don't disagree with it that much on the road, just with what the play calls were.

After the penalty, you run it in. If you don't get it, fine, you made a mistake.

I was yelling for KC to go for 2 against New England because I didn't trust their D. I don't think it would have mattered, but going for the jugular on the road isn't a bad thing sometimes. It just wasn't well executed here.

Wouldn't you be more likely to kick it with less time left? I mean if you don't make it you are going to need time to get the onside kicks and try to score . Completely backward

Personally I would have played for OT given that A) The Titans suck at scoring TDs (a 2 pointer here but its the same plays) so putting it all on one play is a huge risk and B) They had done a much better job in the 2nd half defensively so a stop and a FG win was a very real possibility. But the call for going for 2 isn't THAT egregious. What IS egregious were those play calls, especially not running the ball on the 2nd attempt when the ball was on the 1. For once all season, we actually ran the ball well. Punch that shit in with a gigantic back named Henry, run some option with Mariota/Lewis, whatever. RUN THE DAMN BALL. Both of those throws were bad play calls with low percentages of being completed.

He's probably not thinking at all of the what ifs that would follow a missed conversion, he's thinking of what would follow a conversion. If you pick the XP when there's more time, there is the potential for the Chargers to go 3 and out and you have a chance to advance a little to kick a game winner. If you go ahead by one and give the ball back, the Chargers will be more aggressive and in 4 down mode, so better to not leave too much time for those possibilities.
