Rosen was playing behind by far the worst OL in the NFL last year, and he was traded to a team who gave up before the season even started. Not sure I've ever seen a QB get put in a worse situation in his career since Derek Carr in 2002.

It'd be interesting to see what he can do for a team who isn't in the bottom 2 in the league.
This.

Don't disagree that's why I'm not giving up on any Fin right now. You simply can't assess them under these circumstances. Those that did well you have to give them props. That's my whole point to SP but he would have cut them all after a rebuilding year as they aren't up to his standards...no wonder he believes it will take Miami ten years to rebuild because he would have cut them all.

I liked Tannehill coming out of the draft a little bit, and until this season, it looked like I was wrong. Maybe you gotta at least let a QB play for a team that isn't a hot-poop sandwich before you call him a bust (Josh Rosen).
Tannehill had the wentz disease more than anything. He always looked good when he was healthy.

Yes they do keep on keeping on...but did anybody expect Tanneyhill to have 2 games with under 100 yards passing in each and win both games??? That's some 1970s football right there...just pound the other team into submission with your big back and see if the make a couple too many personal business decisions on D.

All the Titans needed was to not turn the ball over. Mariota couldn't do that.

I will admit I was wrong on Tannehill. He's doing well and good on him. Just goes to show what a huge difference it is playing for a disfunctional mess in Miami to going to a Titans team that is well coached and has their shit together.

I kept saying that he had no oline and gase and philbum were idiots. He's obviously not elite but he's a true starter in the league when there's a solid core built around him. SP was fighting me to the teeth and probably won't admit that he was dead wrong.

Dude was good in Miami too.

Never understood who was feeding the narrative of Tannehill being anything but a solid NFL starter. Prolly Twitter.

Lots of stupid shit on twitter.

I’ve said this for years. Miami’s problem is coaching. And that leads to ownership. Miami teams have been owned by filthy gansters.

Remember the Huizenga years? He broke Marino, Jimmy Johnson, and several other sports teams.

5-0 this year, 12-3 overall. Tannehill is the most underrated QB in the NFL.

I said it a million times it's a team game and unless you are elite you can't do it yourself as a QB. Especially if you have bad coaching. Does anyone believe me now that gase helped kill Tanny? We need to give the man props for fighting through all the BS he was under...

The Titans got both him and Henry on very reasonable deals and this board hated both of them.
