Tannehill might be one of the most underrated QBs in the NFL right now. The Dolphins were semi-relevant when he was healthy as their QB. Now the Titans, who started the year dead in the water, are threatening to take the AFC South.

Good on Tannehill for getting this opportunity and running with it. Hopefully he actually stays healthy. Titans are my dark horse SB team this year. Tannehill is low-key a top 10 QB.

Gotta play the Texans twice and the Saints. They're going to need 2 of those at least, tough charge. But yeah, Mariota was a bust and Tannehill is doing ok.

Big time implications for the 6th seed this upcoming weekend. Steelers & Titans are neck & neck.

Texans @ Titans
Bills @ Steelers

If I’m being honest the Titans are the better team. Steelers are winning on the back of their defense, but the offense shows just enough life to get them the occasional TD. Titans are a red hot team playing well on both sides, even if their defense struggled today.

I liked Tannehill coming out of the draft a little bit, and until this season, it looked like I was wrong. Maybe you gotta at least let a QB play for a team that isn't a hot-poop sandwich before you call him a bust (Josh Rosen).

Rosen has looked like a bust for 2 teams, though. And I don't think Tannehill looked so much like a bust in Miami; more like a guy that had potential but had trouble staying healthy.

Rosen was playing behind by far the worst OL in the NFL last year, and he was traded to a team who gave up before the season even started. Not sure I've ever seen a QB get put in a worse situation in his career since Derek Carr in 2002.

It'd be interesting to see what he can do for a team who isn't in the bottom 2 in the league.

Comeback player of the year.
I was gonna ask?
Havent put to much thought into it & I know he didnt play the whole season.
However couldnt he be a strong nominee for Comeback player of the year anyways. I mean.... Damn. titans were gonna be a sub 500 team & now look like a really strong playoff team.

Actually that was David Carr but yeah your point is valid.

Nah, he was right. Derek Carr was in an awful situation. Not many QBs get put in when they're 11 years old.

The Titans success right now does prove just how bad Mariota is. It's funny, I made an off handed comment at the start of the season about how Mariota would hold them back and fanboys jumped all over me. Posting shots of that BS comeback in KC as proof of something.
I always thought of Tannehill as a slightly better Andy Dalton. But it is obvious too that Miami's issues had a lot to do with Adam Gase being an awful coach and that orginization being half assed. Look at the players that have left there and are now significantly better elsewhere. As for Ryan, we will see. I'm not going to jump up and down thinking he's elite or anything until he does something in the play-offs and/or sustains this good play long term. Lots of guys have spectacular runs only to fall back to mediocrity.

...and was stuck with Gase. I was shocked the Jets hired him after the Dolphins let him go.

Rosen needs continuity with an improving team. He had terrible luck going to the Cards last year (that coach didn't last either) and ends up with a Dolphins team that immediately traded it's LT and best returning WR. The Dolphins wasted time with Fitz when they should've been evaluating/developing Rosen. All they did by starting Fitz was worsen their draft position.
