Time to Start Thinking "Playoffs"

CBS has started thinking about the playoffs and posted an article about where teams are today and where they may be in 5 weeks......................

1. New England Patriots (8-2)
2. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-2)
The top two today appear to be locks for the first round Bye. Their match up in three weeks will determine who gets Home Field if they both make it to the AFCCG.

3. Tennessee Titans (7-4)
4. Kansas City Chiefs (6-5)
5. Jacksonville Jaguars (7-5)
6. Buffalo Bills (6-5)
If these teams played next weeks, the Jags and Bills would be the favorites to win. After all, the Bills beat the Chiefs this afternoon 16-10. The Mighty Chiefs have lost 5 out of their last 6 and may not make it if they continue on the same path for the next 5 weeks.

There are 4 teams that are on the heels of the 3 through 6 teams and those are......

Baltimore Ravens (5-5)
Los Angeles Chargers (5-6)
Cincinnati Bengals (5-6)
Oakland Raiders (5-6)

Houston and Baltimore play each other tomorrow night and Pittsburgh goes against The Packers tonight.

I'm not kidding and I think I went to bed drunk with her sister in Oakland, CA in 1970 just before I left on my 3rd tour. I swear to all that's good, I was considering chewing my arm off so I wouldn't wake her her up. Her teeth were in a juice glass on a table next to the bed. I was able to slide my arm out, get dressed in the bathroom and sneak out without disturbing her. I had Mr. Peanut checked every day for the next two weeks for latent diseases. Her face in the morning with at least 1000 wrinkles scares me to this day. It's a memory that I have never been able to erase....................
