MLSE has announced that Tim Leiweke will be leaving his role as MLSE CEO on June 30, 2015 or when a successor is found. Leiweke departing from Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment

All in all, he did alright - Made TFC respectable, hired Ujiri for the Raptors and got Toronto the 2016 ASG, brought the Leafs' front office into the 21st century. On the Brian Burke scale of 1-10 for being a blustery buffoon, he lands at a 6. Those Stanley Cup parade comments were as Burkish as it gets.

Worse, Leiweke and MLSE tried their hardest to make Friedman look like a liar, which pisses me off to no end if they were just going to turn around and pull this shit two days later.
