We lost because the Indians played fundamental baseball and we don't know how to. Markakis looks the worst I've ever seen him....McLouth has better numbers. Wieters hitting .232....what happened to these guys? Are they off the juice?

Am I the only one that remembers when we were told it was our strategy to acquire high OBP guys...

And now we have a team full of hackers with only about 2-3 players even attempting to work a count.

Thats the 1 statement that cant be argued and Ive been saying it even since last year when we went on our run...and with that loss we drop below the yankees, losethe game we picked up on tb with the game 1 win...and fall back again further from boston...these losses r mounting and well boys...Buck's old famous saying "its a long season" doesnt come into play now...u need to win 5 of every 6 games to make the playoffs...now if your goal wasn't to improve on last yr and be a 1 yr flash in the pan than u have certainly done that

We have fallen below a Yankees team that was decimated with injuries all year. A huge decline this year under Buck. Once again, the front office didn't do enough to improve this team in the off season and it shows. We are exactly where we should be in the standings.

This team is talented enough, and deep enough. They just didn't get it done...that falls on coaches/players not front office. They didnt play good fundamental/team baseball from the 2nd half of May thru now. They do what they want to do and have excuses for not performing, and then there is no accountability for poor play...not just poor play because everybody goes thru slumps...but erroneous plays, like 2 strike hitting (rather strike out swinging hard than choke and poke the ball), like swinging at everything being thrown instead of adjusting and using your head to know what the pitcher is trying to do, like a leadoff double being stranding at 2nd, like getting yourself out, like allowing david ortiz to come in our dugout f up our phone, and then allow him to get 4 hits the next game.

The only one that has done his job this year is Brady Anderson, they have been the healthiest team in the league by far.

If you can't generate runs properly outside of the HR eventually it catches up to you.
