Apparently he was asleep at the wheel - pretty scary stuff. Regardless of whether it was prescription medication or alcohol this is very poor judgment. This guy needs help & he needs to check his ego & reach out to others & get professional help.

Exactly...it matters little what he was on...he was on too much of it for sure.

..and the initial report was bullshit ..they all said that he refused a Breathalyzer and that's why he was arrested.
The entire initial report was all wrong. swerving in the road ..the smell of Alcohol was all wrong.


But there was a urine sample submitted.

Well he has at least 15 years of dealing with all sorts of pain meds for a dozen different injuries.

So I do find it hard to believe this was accidental. To me it's more likely this is an addiction problem.

This. An adverse effect of mixing medications isn't happening the middle of the night on the road. It's possible some mixture of alcohol and the meds caused a problem, but for him to imply it was an inadvertent mix of meds is baloney, IMO.

He took the meds at 8pm and didn't realize it was 3am when he got in his car for a trip to White Castle.
