If they did it during a stop in play, it's 'funny' and makes a certain point to the team I suppose, but during play is just ruining the experience for paying fans that want to see a good game and it stops play, and overall is just stupid. I listened to Puck Daddy radio when they discussed this and they were saying if they REALLY wanna make a point, agree to throw them after an opponent goal and the team will also get a penalty for delay of game.

I watched the Thrashers-Leafs game the other night and there were some waffles tossed. It was during a stop and i twas funny because it really angered the play by play man. Leafs scored two quick ones after it, I think the waffles fired them up.

Also, how do they enforce a ban from the arena?

Yes for now. He is a Habs fan and apparently likes to have some fun. I first heard he was when I read he showed up for a press conference in Toronto wearing a Habs shirt. A google image shirt turns up many more similar photos.

I say for now because after the last couple weeks I am wondering if its bad luck.
