Alright, so beating a dead horse here saying about the Philadelphia 76ers are but this yahoo article actually makes me laugh out loud and how bad the times are

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-b...ladelphia-76ers-fan-these-days-202249957.html

Their best odds to win a game this year is not until the very end of March and even that is only 44.6%.

Obviously I think I can safely predict they don't finish 0-82 but it is hilarious/sad that they are this bad.

Poor 76ers, and definitely poor MCW and Nerlens Noel.

really think management set up the team in such a way geared at losing as many games as possible aka tanking. for this its the only positive that there is nba lottery. I don't think you should be able to tank purposely and get rewarded for it. I hope they get the worst pick possible. not sure what the possibilities are but I would laugh if they ended up near 10th

I believe the way the lottery is set up the worst team can get no worse than 4th. They do the ping pong balls for the top 3 and then go by record.

They could still end up drafting a Candyman, Darko, or Oden though. Maybe even a Thabeet.

Rebuilding through the draft strictly is retarded unless u draft a LeBron or Durant type of player

And unless you think Okafor could be one of those guys, that ain't happening.

They're trying to be as bad as possible. I hope they don't get what they want in the draft. Any team that tanks deserves to be awful for many years to come.

You have to wonder whether Philly has set themselves up to be perpetually tanking. If you a Sixers player with some talent, do you really want to extend your career with a franchise that is proactively putting you through such misery? What good free agents are going to commit to this franchise?

I'm not sold on players like MCW and Noel, but I could see them risking guaranteed money to become UFAs in order to leave that mess.

It would be amazing if the Eagles won more games. It's looking quite possible.

They should be a lock for the #1 pick...you know, since Cleveland won't be in the running

Have any of you NBA basketball fans actually watched any Sixers games? To say that what's going on in Philly hinders development is a stupid comment that makes it clear you haven't. And this is the 2nd year we will be at the top of the draft your comment makes it sound like its year 5 of the rebuild when in fact it's been less then 2 years since we started the rebuilding by trading Jrue. And if it's bad for the league to trade 1 ok player (Jrue) for multiple 1st round picks and building blocks (Noel, Saric) which it isn't then what is the best corse of action? To be a 8th seed and get bounced in the 1st round for 7 years in a row? Philly is doing it the smart way not over paying aging players that aren't gonna get you a championship like the Knicks and Lakers and acquiring young talent and DEVELOPING them. Watch the games before you talk and make yourself sound dumb.
