I agree. I really don't get why this guy decided to write something like that? I may not like the Flyers but that was ridiculous. Anyone associated with any team in the East writing that at least would make more sense.

I love the Flyers and Kings too, I just can't stand people on either side trashing one another because of cities or the players that were traded - it just doesn't make sense to me

Here's my "Haven't read it yet" post. I'm excited, albeit a bit nervous for this. I usually enjoy the eulogies. I thought the St. Louis one was pretty funny. Have really loved some in the past, so I'm preparing for disappointment.

Really though, this was odd. He didn't rip the Flyers, he bitterly bashed the fans and flaunted the success of a franchise which was nearly dead for years. I hate most everything about Philly teams, fans, etc. but I know that majority of Flyers fans are legitimately hockey fans. That same thing can't be said for majority of Kings fans.

Anyway I just don't get it and outside the Kings having a few ex Flyers on the roster I guess there is some emotional tie? Since I didn't get it did that "writer" actually state the Kings have the best fans?
