Looking like Butler is our star player now. Rose (If healthy) and Butler gives us a nice 1-2 punch in the back court.

They are gonna wish they ponied up those extra two million to get the extension done. Now it looks like he will probably be offered a max deal as a restricted free agent.

exciting game yesterday, lucky bank shot by rose in the first overtime, dont know why he got the shot in the second.

Thibbs took the blame for the Hinrich foul that gave them the tie in regulation, should have fouled him on the floor before he got to half court. After this happened to Butler early in the season, we just knew it was gonna bite us one game.

Man, the Bulls are really really really hoping they got that deal done with Butler. Forget about the couple million they were off, its looking like Max money now.

Loved the kids comments after the game. With Rachel after, he basically said he didnt care if Rose played or not. Said some nights he needs to shoot, some he needs to pass. Later there was a recording where he said, I dont care if I score 5 or 50 points, as long as we win. After the game the experts at the round table, I think it was smith said most people have offensive game then learn defense, Butler is doing it opposite, he knew defense and learned offense.

Love the tenacity, wont back down from anybody, isnt afraid to guard anybody and that fall away J is really Jordanesque.

Ok football is about over. Time to start watching bball more. It's tough for me though. So spoiled in the 90's and now-a-days NBA teams don't really play D until April.

But the Bulls do. Been a weird week this week, I haven't been watching much but I know we've lost a few lately. What is going on?


I'm going to the Bulls Mavs in Dallas next Friday btw. That should kick start my obsession. That and I am going to hoop tonight with some church folks. Always interesting to see who starts cussing 1st in the church league.

espn announcers said it best, seems washington feels they can beat the bulls any time they want.

Butlers fg% is dropping like a beal three. seems to me he is deferring too much to derrick. I cannot see it being fatigue, but Jimmy has been playing alot without injury breaks this year. I just cant stand the poor assist numbers this team has.

Big stretch against good opponents coming up. BTW, Orlando put up 120 on houston and won, so they seem to be as good against good teams as the bulls are bad against bad teams. First period defense was stellar, fell apart after.

derric vocal about team not being on the same page, not competing. really? mr I wont risk my knee to come back for the playoffs. then announce the day after they are eliminated that he is ready?

Team played much better without derrick. Hate to say it, but everyone wanted to know what this bulls team would be like when derrick was all the way back. Answer is worse.
