Sabres fire Riegier and the coach and replace them with Ted Nolan and LaFontaine. Obviously MASSIVE upgrades. Most of Buffalo is probably super excited, but I'm not. This is a decision that is coming years too late (re: the GM) and the bungled replacing of Ruff was pathetic.

"Better late than never" is the best I can do here.

I do think they will start winning more games (I suppose they can't win less) with Nolan this year though.
