yes boys and girls, if you haven't heard by now, its taking the city by storm.
L.A. has won seven of their last nine meetings with Dallas including two of three this year, including their only match up at Staples Center. The Stars won only one game in L.A. last season, a 4-1 victory in late March. The Kings are 7-3 in their last 10 home games against Dallas.
A win in regulation would put the Kings a point above the Stars in official points, tied in tie-breaker wins and 3-1-0 in the season series with two games left. That's important because then the worst that could happen would be the Kings lose the last two games and end up tied in head-to-head with the Stars, which would invoke the next tie-breaker; that's goal-differential, at which the Kings are currently topping the Stars by a whopping 24 goals.
