Strip sack of Rivers. That's the Shea we need to see this year. If he steps up this defensive suddenly looks elite.

Nate Collins continuing his solid play from last week. A nice push to get to Rivers there. Pretty nice hit as well.

Im not sure if Im more impressed with the Bears defense or unimpressed with the Chargers oline. That might be the top unit and the bottom unit respectively for all we know.

Good point. Their line does look awful.

I'll take it either way. Peppers is not even dressed.

Yup. Nate Collins, has impressed both weeks in both preseason weeks.

Wooten is going to have a breakout year.

The sack/FF by McClellin was absolutely beautiful. That slowed, stutter-step in side, then back out was flawless, and just downright beautiful. He looks as though he has beefed up a bit from last year, which is precisely what he needs. If he and Woot had hold up against the run, I see big things from those two, splitting time.

And again.....I don't know if tonight is any indication of the future, but Kyle Long was straight beast-mode tonight.

Yeah -he needs to justify that first round pick status and really show up this year.
If he can get consistent pressure and sacks -mixed in with Wooten & Peppers, the D-line will really be a force to be reckoned with.
Offenses will have to be so aware of the edge rush, it will kill their game plan.

Wooton had a break out yr last yr. 7.5 sacks playing less than 45% of the D snaps. I just see him doing more damage, taking over Izzys' role.

I agree completely. Except for, the above-mentioned, limited snaps.....I think he gets much more snaps this year.

I predict 10, at least.

Does he not, just look like Peppers 2.0?

Just has the make yo..

And ftr, I think Wooten will be better than Izzy.

More natural talent/athleticism.
