sucks to hear that, Cavill is perfect for the role.

I think Hemsworth will do fine, but Cavill was all about the series and knew the source material inside and out.

I think the writers kind of pushed him away....and that's dumb

Cavill even took a huge paycut just to play this characer. While I understand writers wanting to put their signature in the project... they need to respect and appreciate the source material. It seems like that wasn't the case with some of these writers who openly disliked and mocked the games and books, and wanted to just use the existing IP to tell their own stories.

Well… Watched the first half of season 3, and I have to say I’m having a bitch of a time following what the hell is going on! I can imagine they may have completely lost people with no familiarity with the story.

Or… maybe they’ve completely jumped the rails and it no longer matters?
