I actually watched tonight with not much sports on. Holy fuck did some god awful people get voted in again.

This show is so predictable. The "cute" boys, the country singers and the "working man" get votes.

It's why they all tank afterwards. This show caters to conservative 50 year olds who vote for things other than pure marketability.

Trent will win. WGWGs almost always win Idol.

But this champ will have a very hard time becoming successful. There is not a show on twice a week to continually pump the victory.

The early contestants who had success (Clarkson, Fantasia, Underwood, Hudson, Daughtry, etc) had the monster of Idol to assist in their marketing. Anyone from this season will not have that.
