TAMU is probably going to lose quite a few players after that disappointing game against Miami. The question then becomes how much they can add back in the portal to offset who leaves.

Not a fan of the portal. Minimally a player shouldn't be able to enter until after the National Championship is over. same with coaches leaving.

Not sure how you tell players we're a team and then allow this. In reality it's every man for himself.

Coaches have been able to do it for eternity. They would peace out, and players, if they wanted to leave, had a 99% probability of having to sit out for a year before they could play again.

The field has certainly been leveled, but the calendar is all sorts of jacked up compared to the school calendar, which is what they’re trying to match up with.

One of the Navy players was interviewed right before Army/Navy and had a spot on statement- other teams talk about brotherhood but they leave after a year, what we have here is an actual brotherhood.

I don’t know for sure, but here are a couple examples recently. The problem is both are new coaches.


Not an official portal entry, but it does seem like he considered it……though this is entirely a new coaching staff.


I’ve seen a couple people who LOLd at this one, but Mike Gundy and Eric Morris couldn’t be different head coaches. But again, this is a new coaching staff which I completely understand.
