Let's see some savage defense and allow 10 or fewer three pointers for 32 consecutive games.

I read that as you saying that we should have some average defense and I was agreeing. But savage defense would be better, even though I don’t use that term. I don’t not use it for politically correct reasons or anything. I just don’t use that word.

After Kobe Bryant scored 81 against Toronto, the Warriors were the Lakers next opponent. I heard a radio commercial promoting the game that the Warriors Savage Defense was going to hold Kobe Bryant to like four points or something.

That's not that fun, because hardly anyone compares players using 3 season averages.

If he DID have those splits over 3 seasons, do people know how that compares to Stockton or Markkanen using a 3 season stretch No. So what's the point?

Well we know neither of those latter two hit the 90% mark in FTs for sure.

I think the point was that it was all with one team. And also how close he was but missed it. If he had missed it by 5 3 point shots, I don’t think they would have made the tweet.

It seems like it would’ve been longer ago since this type of thing had happened. And it sounds like it’s just remarking the Lakers. I thought that the game is changed enough that this could be a league wide thing. Maybe not 2018 but it seems weird that it’s just a noting the last time the Lakers did it and only since 2018. In other words, I wouldn’t be surprised if it had said, that was the first time that any team has scored 60 points with no three-pointers by half since 2018. And the reason why it could happen is because of free throws Or a lot of transition points or points off offensive rebounds. I get that scores have been up and that’s why you’ll get a lot more 60 point games, but usually that’s because three pointers in part.

What about any other team? Who was the most recent?

Also they still took 3's, they just missed them. I'd be more impressed if they didn't take any 3's in a half.

You make 100% of the shots you don't miss.

What? I know who he is, but I don’t know who he is. I’ve heard good things about him, but I had assumed it was for hustle or for something in tangible. I didn’t think of him as a three-point shooter. But I think if I look at his stats, maybe I would.

He meets my criteria. Now we need to see him do it in the playoffs.
