3rd Tier: Louisville, Texas AM, Georgia

Note: Stanford has not yet looked great. Should know more after 1st test against Arizona St

Biggest Surprises: Texas Tech, UCF, Auburn, Miami, Washington

Biggest Disappointments: Texas, TCU, USC

Heisman Trophy: Johnny Manziel, Marcus Mariotta, Teddy Bridgewater, Tajh Boyd, AJ McCarron.

Note: Impossible to avoid Manziel. Played a great game against the number 1 team. McCarron operates behind an incredible line. It's the o-line that makes Alabama number 1.

NC Game: Alabama vs Oregon.

Pretty sure most Alabama fans feel that their line is substandard this year (for an Alabama line, which is like Wisconsin's line being average for Wisconsin, but anyway).

McCarron was getting beautiful protection all afternoon. That was the difference in the game.
