Yup, just read this. I like the idea of Schenn coming up, but I wish Shitty was suspended for the entire season. Rinaldo has been decent the last couple of games. Harry Z has blazing speed. I wish there was a way to keep these guys up.

Hartnell has nowhere to go except the fourth line. Seriously. Yay, Hartnell is playing less, but shit we have a 4.2mil 4th liner...

This is good news, but seriously where is he going to play and how much time can we really expect to see him? Unless a top 9 is getting moved(or is hurt) I can honestly say I don't agree with bringing him up just yet.

I can't see them placing Hartnell on the 4th line, and he definitely could get us some decent value. Hell worse case scenario package him with someone like Carle and go after another D-man or some good picks.

I guess it depends on the team where he is going and what the situation would be. I can see a few teams wanting him for his toughness. Send him out west to LA or somewhere and we will take a young prospect or draft picks. Not sure what he is worth to answer your question.

THat third line has the the best +/- goal differential on the team right now, so it isn't a no-brainer to break it up.

ya the 3rd line doesn't get changed i dont think.. schenn will play on the 4th line and prob get some PK time.. that's my guess.. maybe some spot duty with the 2nd line to spell simmonds or voracek (that line hasn't been the greatest)

and 4706 trading pronger doesn't fix the 'problem' of having 12/13 guys that can play top 9 minutes haha (schenn, harry z, nodl, talbot being the 4 additional)

I call the kings the second chance Flyers.....haha! Everyone has to remember that this is a good problem to have lots of competition. I bet that they'll ease Schenn in on the 4th line. Talk about good 4th lines!!!

i don't think the FO would bring him up to play 4th line minutes that doesnt seem to make sense for anyone.

I'm going to give my honest opinion(even though it will be unpopular). The only F who has really looked out of placed or been unnoticeable so far seems to be Briere. Now we have spent a ton of time killing and he doesn't play the PK, but even on the PP(minus the goal from jagr) or at ES he seems lost. Plus he's taking lots of dumb stick penalties. I'm not sure if he's nursing an injury or is just off to an unusually slow start but he needs to step it up.

he is the only one that is consistently playing with different players every nice, i am not concerned about danny. if he was injured they would sit him, they have too much depth to let him play hurt.

Ya but Talbot still played 12 min last game they can find a way to sneak him into the lineup slowly. Who knows maybe they shake up DB's line although they started to play better....too many penalties for anyone to get into sync. Good thing that the PP is playing better.
