Premiered this past Sunday on HBO. If you haven't seen it, go watch. This looks like its going to be great.

It stars Danny McBride, John Goodman, and Adam Devine playing a family (the Gemstones) that run a megachurch. McBride created the show and it has the same sort of vibe as Eastbound and Down, so if you liked that, you'll like this. First episode was hilarious.

Similar to Vice Prinicipals I think it will get better as it goes along and we really get into the premise.

The flashback episode was hilarious. Those kids were amazing, capturing the essence of their adult characters perfectly, especially Young Jesse.

Also, HBO picked this up for a 2nd season!

Loved the twist of Scotty literally running into Baby Billy and Tiffany which results in Scotty ending up dead and with BB and Tiff with all the money. Did not expect that at all yet it sets up so much potential for the future [/spoilers]

It was a great two episode premiere. Judy is such a scene stealing character.

I'm a little bummed they offed Jason Schwartzman's character so early though. He's fun actor to have around so its disappointing they won't be doing much with him. But at least we still have Eric Andre
