3 games at Detroit - that concludes our road visits
3 at home against the Indians
4 at home against the Tigers

So 7 of our last 10 games are against the worst record in baseball. We should win at least 4, if not 5 of those, but then again, we're the White Sox.

Eh... I'm pretty content with however we end up win/loss wise. This year was all about the development of our talent and they passed in that department with flying colors. Eloy and Yoan are on absolutely torrid paces to end the season. Giolito became a fringe #1 caliber starter. Tim Anderson broke out and is on the verge of a batting title. We also may have figured out the catcher position for the near future. Which has long plagued us.

Cease is the only thing you might consider a "disappointment". However, it's really just a matter of him getting his command down. Because that kid's stuff is straight up nasty. Nobody can deny the ability is there. He could most definitely burn out and fade. However, with how Giolito showed up this season. There has to be some optimism that Cease can show up next season ready to go. Along with Kopech and what should be at least a DECENT free agent addition.

Robert and Madrigal are waiting in the wings for 2020.

Whether we win 68 or 72 games is of absolutely no consequence to me. Timmy getting the batting title, Yoan finishing with an OPS north of .900 and Eloy knocking his 30th dinger are much more important accomplishments in my book. That's our future. Not really concerned with whether or not Ivan Nova or Dylan Covey can beat the damn Detroit Tigers during the final week of September.

Hey, 70 wins would show some tangible team improvement... but meh...

Covey's out for the remainder of the year, so there's one less concern for you.

Ah, yeah... forgot about that.

That's nice. Remember when he strung a few really good starts together last year? lol. That was fun.
