One bad call, well that is a bit of an understatement. It was essentially the game ending moment taken away for no reason.


But even if you believe it was "ONE" call.


Why was it immediately followed up by 3 defensive calls against Detroit...and 3 missed holding calls on Dallas all on the same drive after the "ONE" call?

weird that a fan from the team it benefited starts this thread. im sorry but that was an absolute embarrassment. I dislike the lions more than the pack but that was plain wrong and completely changed the outcome of the game.

it was an embarrassment, absolutely. I wanted Dallas to win, and I was embarrassed.

But all the other calls went against Dallas, and if you watch football close and watch the tape, there are holds and other shit by all teams all the time. Refs always miss calls.

but still, to throw a flag, then pick it up? Cant fathom how that can happen except on PI when ball is way overthrown.

Well the problem with a comment like this is that it ignores the fact that if the refs just keep the call on the field and don't pick up the flag (without and explanation) then that shanked kick never happens. It's kind of a butterfly effect. The bad call on the non-PI directly led to the poor punt. It doesn't happen if the call is made correctly.

This was happening the whole drive too. No call. The officials need to be fired, but they won't. There is no accountability for them.
