Sale's struggles have been discussed, but Porcello sucks, Eovaldi didn't last long, Erod started off poorly and gradually worked his way back, while price started off well than turned to shit. No stopper in the lot. I almost think the Sox should consider using sale as a 2 or 3 inning opener like the Rays. Since the Sox are effectively out of it, why not experiment?

The rotation's struggles to go deep into games has hurt the bullpen's performance to a degree IMO. Sox bullpen has the 8th most innings out of any (Red Sox rotation is 16th and that's with them being tied for the most games of any team).

The offense has fallen short in some rallies, but I don't think you can really pin this year's struggles on an offense that's 2nd in the AL in runs scored and could potentially score over 900 runs this year.

I don't know what anyone can truly focus on with this team... It's just not there year that's for sure but at least they aren't the Orioles! or Tigers
