I couldn't believe Nebraska gave us so much bulletin board material, not just for one week, the whole offseason. From the shirts, the video, the name calling, announcing jersey sales for the Texas game, the conference shakeup stuff, etc....Never seen anything like that.

Exactly. And my main question is, did coach Osborne even see this before it was released? You never give another team a reason to put up bulletin board material.

the red out wasn't intended to be a battle cry specifically for the texas game, they made a huge mistake by adding the beat texas at the end of it and it was quickly taken off, it was still a nice video. It was rather intended to connect Husker fans all over the world, and thats exactly what it does. They do a lot of marketing ploys every year, and from a marketing standpoint there couldn't have been a better stage than the NU ut game. The loss doesn't make it a bad decision and it certainly would have been praised for whatever it's worth if we had won.
