R1, Pick 8 - DL Ed Oliver
R2, Pick 43 - OL Dalton Risner (unlikely, but not impossible he falls here)
R3, Pick 88 - CB Lonnie Johnson
R4, Pick 111 - DE/OLB Jordan Brailford
R5, Pick 146 - WR David Sills
R6, Pick 184 - LB Chase Hanson
R6, Pick 204 - TE Foster Moreau
R7, Pick 224 - RB James Williams
R7, Pick 229 - SS Mike Bell

Seems a bit optimistic but I will allow it. Would love if it fell to us this way. Have to admit I dont know much about Brailford though. Will need to look at him.

I agree this is a lot of unlikely. Foster Moreau would probably need to be the 5th. Risner falling would be a dream come true, and Lonnie is unlikely to fall to the late 3rd.

I could not remove my homer from the hopeful.

Brailford feels like one of those that did not stand out in college, but does well in the after the season stuff. The 4th is probably early for him.

I like the 2 trades Barnwell wrote about today.

Raiders Get Stafford 2-43
Lions Get 1-4

Titans Get 1-8
Lions Get 1-19, 2-51, 4-121

I would use none of those picks on QBs though. 1-4 Allen 1-19 Dillard/Metcalf/Burns. Offer 2-51 for Rosen if Cardinals take Murray?

Not sure Stafford will have his head in the game anymore with all his personal stuff. Hope I am wrong but I think he could be checked out already.

He's not great at anything but he's one of those relentless motor, tries hard on nearly every down. Maybe a less version of Winovich. When I watched games against Okie big, K-St and Iowa-St I saw him able to attack upfield, apply pressure or move the qb out of the pocket (he got his sacks too) and drops into space for coverage. He's not fast or really quick. He doesn't have a fluid, agile, bendy upper body but there's an awful lot of potential there yet to be unwrapped.

I've dug into other teams needs that are above us. I'm not using the 100's of mocks out there instead I went to teams current depth charts and went off that along with OTC to see whose contracts were up in 2 years or less. Obviously some picks are relatively easy due to rumors/needs/scheme fits. The following is what I think could/should happen.

1. ARZ.... QB K. Murray
2019 Arizona Cardinals Depth Chart | Ourlads.com
Team needs QB/WR1/TE/LT/CB/NT

2. SF...….. DE N. Bosa
2019 San Francisco 49ers Depth Chart | Ourlads.com
Team needs DE/WR1/FS/RG/CB/RT

3. NYJ..... OLB J. Allen (They're set at 5/6 tech with Williams, Anderson, Shepherd, Fatukasi).
2019 New York Jets Depth Chart | Ourlads.com
Team needs Edge/TE1/CB2/WR/2/NT

4. OAK.... DE M. Sweat (This will surprise some. They have iDL Hankins, Hurst, Hall, edge Mauro/Key. This should be a no brainer outside of a maybe with Burns. He's better suited for Edge/OLB in a 3-4. They need outside pass rush)
2019 Oakland Raiders Depth Chart | Ourlads.com
Team needs DE/TE1/RB1/CB1/LG/SS/NT

5. TAM..... OLB B. Burns (HC Arians hired former DC Bowles and he runs a 3-4 base. Burns fits his system. They too are desperate for outside pass rush and have Vita Vea as NT. Q. Williams doesn't really fit. They signed FA Edge Barrett)
2019 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart | Ourlads.com
Team needs Edge/FS-SS/RB1/5-6t DE/WR3

6. NYG..... iDL Q. Williams (Rumor is QB but they have #17 & #35 and the BPA of Q-W over-rides as he is generational talent. If they want Haskins, Lock, D. Jones they can stay at #17 or move up or trade their #35 to AZ for Josh Rosen).
2019 New York Giants Depth Chart | Ourlads.com
Team needs QB/WR1/RT/CB/5-6t DE/

7. JAX...…. ?????????????? (All talk is RT Taylor but I'm not so sure. Oliver makes sense as BPA but they drafted Taven Bryan 2018. Oliver on paper is better. They have a RT in Richardson who is similar to but Taylor on paper is better. I believe this spot is the first trade of the night).

I'm calling the first 5 picks of the draft as I noted. It becomes sticky/questionable at #6 with NYG and due to GM Gettleman making Martin Mayhew look like a genius most of the time. During Gettleman's tenure at Carolina, 2013-2016, he Never used a first round pick on an OL.

If Williams is out there at 6 the Giants would leap to replace the hole that Snacks left. It will be interesting to see if both Devin's are there for us at 8 and we cant trade out. Personally I think Jax takes one of them. Our best case is both are there and we trade back a few spots and not only get another draft pick but also one of them.

Hold the phone.
Remember Mayhew was the guy who always said BPA and then picked Ebron over Donald (best player in the NFL arguably), O'dell (super elite WR), Zack Martin, Ryan Shazier, CJ Mosely and Lewan.
Let's not let Mini-Millen off the hook yet.

7. J.Williams or Taylor- The defense is set and Foles is a pure pocket passer that they just dumped 80 million on.

8) White, Burns or Metcalf- Other scenario is a trade down with NE, Hoodie trades up from #31 to #8- We receive Kyle Van Noy, a 4th rounder and two piping hot bowls of NE clam chowda for Fat Pat and Quinn.

I thought Benjamin was going to be a huge bust. He turned out to be much better than I anticipated. I'll give him credit for that.
Shaq Thompson is pretty good though? I haven't really followed his career.

This would be a decent looking draft. I really do hope we get Hunter Renfrow, that kid is all heart.

That's two that took my guy Taylor. I didn't list him because I don't think he makes it past the Giants.

Here's hoping. :suds:

If he falls to 8 we better be all over him.

You were on him from the get go too.
