Harden and Gordon are a combined 8-27 from deep.

Two guys. 27 threes. Bit excessive...

If Embiid and Simmons stay healthy the Sixers could be a 48-50 win team. Still probably the the 4th or 5th best team in the conference but a team to contend with.

If Lonzo truly is 'Magic light' then the Lakers won't only make the playoffs, but they'll make it far.

Both are just as likely.

Pretty happy with how the Sixers played tonight. Especially Simmons. Posting a double double in your first NBA game with 5 assists as well is a pretty solid start to your NBA career.

Settle down. 50 is really really pushing it. I love the talent there and they actually have some good vets with Redick, Bayless, and Johnson, but young teams don't win shit. And this is still a pretty darn young team. I could see them getting 6th because its the East, but that win total you listed seems excessive. 42 to 43 feels like the ceiling.

What was the Sixers wins over/under at season's start? Without looking at all I'd say 42.5 wins.

Simmons and Embiid staying mostly healthy is as likely as Lonzo Ball turning in Magic Johnson as a rookie? Whatever you say.

The Sixers are in the East. If the Embiid and Simmons stay healthy, which is certainly a big if, then the Sixers COULD wing 48-50 games?

Is that going to happen? Probably not. But I they could certainly be the 4th or 5th best team in the league if they stay healthy.

What the hell is up with Fultz shooting form? My wife has better form than that. Overall, I like what the Sixers look like. Our starting 5, if healthy is right up there with anybody in the East, outside of Cleveland. Our bench looks to be underwhelming. I like Saric and Johnson in that role, but nobody else really stepped up. Fultz needs to step it up, he looked unathletic, and looks like he won't be able to hit jack shit outside of the lane. Getting Holmes healthy will be another positive, as I think he'll be a solid contributor.

Worried about Fultz, though. He doesn't look like a #1 overall pick.

Feel bad for Kyrie. He's not a #1 option on a contender and now he has too be. My guess is we'll see more games like last night far more than we don't. I heard on Mike and Mike that FiveThirtyEight has their over/under for wins at 37.5, which is stunning.
