In pregame warmups Cerni(spelling) had a wrap just below his right knee, his punting leg.
Into the wind, his punts would net 20 to 25 yards, if in a game. Add in the rush and the punt return and it would be worse.
You saw the game, it was bad.
Special Teams are still dismal.
Missed XPs and a missed FG. Connor Culp was really angry with himself when he missed that XP that would have made it 30-23. BTW. no coach or player came over to him. Not one..
Props to the Illinois punter putting the ball at the one yard line, two times and scoring a safety.
