Guess o have to share my disdain between Vegas and Pitts
I don't wish him ill, he did something a stupid drunk kid would do and paid a price, would he have made a difference if he returned? Maybe, but we're still growing and still need a couple of holes filled, goalie strength and depth being one of those, however I feel we have some decent players in the pipeline and there's always room for an addition. One of these days I'm confident we'll come out on the good side of one of these situations, hopefully we have few to none in the future.

Yea that savior-complex is creepin' in, Ole Carter Hart needs to grow-up a little bit before he really embraces his talents and plays his best!

And so it begins, guaranteed the idiots that are in any way crying about this are just paid uninformed Rubes!
I can see why Danny took a hard pass. Unnecessary noise around the franchise that would consume time and effort that is better used on finding and growing talent.

We are playing the Devils pretty even. Winning faceoffs, taking shots on goal, and we are playing decent-to-good defense!

It would help our cause if we started games by scoring first. Playing come-from-behind doesn't appear to be a good strategy for these Flyers.

I didn't even realize Ellis was still wasting space and cap on our roster? Was this one of those stupid Chuck Fletcher moves like 8 years ago?

I am sure WTF Chuck had some influence on that move!! Briere is Draining the Influence to get the Flyers out of a very deep rabbit hole that WTFC helped to put there in the first place!!

Was most definitely done under Chucky's watch. That GMing for dummies book didn't help Hextall either.

We now have 7.5 million in cap space. In Danny B we trust!
If you check the link I posted, there will be several UFA or RFA that we may want to keep.

Zegras $5.75
Dvorak $5.4
Brink $1.5
Grebenkin $0.875
Abols $0.8
Drysdale $2.3
Zamula $1.7
Ersson $1.5

Guess we have to wait and see how Zegras performs, but the better he performs, the higher his number might go.
Dvorak will not get that much here again.
If they want to keep the others, they probably make more.

That being said, our cap situation is better than it was last week!

Dvorak makes bank for one year here and then he's an UFA, so he probably isn't returning. Abols is also an older UFA, so he likely won't be kept. Decisions to make on the rest of them, for sure, but they will all be RFA's under franchise control. There should be plenty of motivation for them all to do well this season.

I love moving Ellis. That really offers us a lot of flexibility under the cap moving forward. We're no longer hamstrung by that contract.

Now it's time to start getting competitive and either attract a big fish in the offseason or consolidate some picks/prospects in a trade for one.

IMO Dvorak will gone as we have Luchanko to take that spot
IMO Zamula will be gone
IMO Errsson may also be gone
IMO Abols Grebenkin wont make much more that they make now.
IMO Brink Drysdale and Zegras we will have to wait and see on all three.
