Va. Tech hires Franklin; PSU buyout renegotiated

Virginia Tech hired James Franklin to be its next football coach. The former Penn State coach was originally owed a $49 million buyout after being fired, but part of his deal with the Hokies includes a $9 million settlement from PSU, sources told ESPN.

Looks like the Defense was its normal mediocre self but the Offense came through with a win and a 6 and 6 season. Not too shabby after all of the circumstances the Lions had to endure this year.

Matt Campbell is a solid hire but they messed up the entire firing of Franklin.

Campbell needs to flip some of the Iowa State recruits to PSU.....he had his best ever recruiting class with Iowa State.
