“Not necessarily” who they are? Obviously not, no team is that team who will lose by 73 points every game.

They almost did it last year when they were down by 67 and rallied to lose by 57. Coincidentally, they also allowed 152 points that game as well.

When did they get to 90%?

When was the last time a team had 41 assists?

I wonder if there was a way to get a distribution of those, by rim, paint (overlap), midrange, 3's.

When did they get to 90%?

90% isn’t a good marker. They started with a 74.5% likelihood:

99.9% was at 9:51 in the 3rd.

If Luguentz Dort did not make a bad pass, he would have helped his team maintain the 0.2% chance of winning. Just as I have always said, don’t draft someone with the name Luguentz. Doing so will lower your chances of winning by 0.2%.

This looks like a decent 30 something win team, with Kessler, Sexton, and Vanderbilt having something to prove in their careers. And Clarkson wanting to play like he did a few years ago.

Better than a teens win total, or low 20 something win total.

Yes this team still needs several stars, but if they play determined and can win 30 something games, and develop what they have, then that will make for an enjoyable season IMO.

Many were surprised with our 3–0 start and that wasn’t something that I would predicted, but I’m still upset that we lost to Houston. But I think that if we beat Denver for the second time of the season, I think, I will let that go… I think. If we lose to Denver, fine, it’s hard to beat them twice in a row, but then the Houston game will be annoying again.

Consider me annoyed. The Nuggets are beatable but I would in a normal season expect a split. Winning 2 of 2 would make up for the loss to the Rockets.

Memphis tonight would not be an expectation because they could be expected to sweep us in the regular season. If we beat them, it makes up for the Rockets loss mathematically but means a bit more. Still not having playoffs or more expectations. I have no idea about playin qual because so many teams make that it playoffs in the NBA, but original 6? No.

I don’t know what to think about this. I originally thought that made up for it and more but then, when I realized that Morant didn’t play, then it doesn’t mean more, so I thought that made up for it, but nothing more. But then I thought that playing Memphis without Morant would be like beating Denver. A good thing, but not extra. Conley didn’t play for us and other Grizzlies produced Morant like scoring that they wouldn’t have with Morant in, but still. So I think we’re even now. But still don’t like the stupid Rockets loss. If we beat Memphis with Morant later, I will try to swap it in my crowded head. I still don’t expect a lot from the Jazz but don’t like losing to the Rockets.

Ok, I expect a normal Jazz team to beat the Grizzlies once, with or without Morant and lose the rest. We won two, one with Morant. I expect the normal Jazz to sweep the Rockets. We lost one. So we’re even. Is beating Memphis with Morant more good than losing to Houston is bad? I expect the normal Jazz to win 1 to 2 times against Denver. We won one so far. We needed to beat Minnesota to avoid them sweeping us again like they did with Mitchell, Gobert, and Snyder.

I think nothing good or bad about New Orleans. I suppose we have as good of chance of sweeping them as they have of sweeping us. So 2–2? 1–3? One of the stat based analysts for the Jazz said that, even though Zion scored a lot against us, we were scoring so much against him that it was good for New Orleans for him to sit the remainder of the game.

If these guys are going to be a part of a happy Utah Jazz future, they have to do a better job on Christian Wood.

How is 4.4 rebounds 30th in the league? It seems like every team would have at least be player averaging more… 0.8 assists is 33rd? Or is this rookie ranks? But then, 4.4 would be high for 30th for rookies and 5.1 isn’t 150th in scoring.
