Fuck Chicago.

edit: But I'm damn glad our season starts tomorrow. Looking forward to having a new division rival in Detroit.

It's not a major thing, but why the hostility against Chicago?

I was pulling for them because I've always liked their red home uniforms. And because watching any game without picking a team to root for is contrary to my nature.

They did beat us, but they weren't playing us last night.

New York City teams I will always root against, but that's another matter.

:suds: How goes it brudda?

Meh, could be better, could be worse. We have to get to a game this year my man. Philly was a great time with great fellow hooplanites there with us. On a off topic note, I'm looking to get into good shape, including losing about 40 lbs or so, and start playing paintball again. Looking to buy a nice pump gun and join/start a "woodsball" team. Living in New Bedford now. How you been?

Thoughts on the Bruins. Too whiny. Take a lot of cheap shots. Their goalie sucks, and all the recent success they've had has been because they got lucky in the draft lottery and landed Crosby.

Wait, that is the Bruins, right? I get them and the Penguins mixed up sometimes. They have the same colors for the uniforms.

Meh, it could be worse. Take the Flyers for example. signed an overrated goalie to a long term high priced contract and didn't even make the playoffs, and at least the Bruins WON a Cup in recent years. :boink:

Don't focus too much on just losing weight.

Something too many people don't know is that muscle tissue is twice as dense as fat tissue.

I used to have a 40-42 inch waistline, but am now down to a 36 in spite of having more muscle
at 65 than I did in my 20s. I'm up to 220 now, but most of that is muscle,so it doesn't worry me as much as it once would have.

I know muscle weighs more than fat......let me put it this way........I want to lose this big fat gut and get back into 34 jeans.

You may know it, but I didn't when I had the 42 inch waist.

It's still a little weird feeling how much weight I've got in my shoulders and back, but it's a weirdness I'm getting to like.

I don't suppose makers of diet foods/drinks are in any hurry to publicize this fact. It wouldn't help their sales at all, would it?

Can't friggin' wait for Thursday. Although I have to work a double. So it'll be radio for periods one and two, and then I'll go over to the bar for the third for my "dinner" break.

I thought our 1st game was Friday. Are you sure it's Thursday?

Can't believe we scored two short handed goals. How do you guys think our PP is going to fare this season? I didn't get to catch much of the preseason. I know Krug has the potential to really be a jumpstart in some nice PP opportunities. That kid's shot is ridiculous.

TBH they looked kinda sloppy. 1st game jitters and such. THe B's did a lot more crashing on the net that I really liked. It resulted in a couple nice chances. Defense was pretty solid. Tuuka was great.

Brick said last nite on NESN that the coaching staff stated that we will see a completely different & revamped PP this season. I'll believe it when I see it.
