I mean, pointing out that a team has an historically poor OBP through 2 weeks isn't exactly "cherry picking".Yeah...We aren't that bad...Not even close. Not too concerned about a cherrypicked stat like this that doesn't come close to telling the whole story.
I had tempered expectations for this team when realization hit that we weren't going to acquire another decent SP. However if they miss the playoffs, the disappointment will heavy.

I don't disagree with you on any of this. However, simply pointing out how bad the White Sox have been offensively is not cherry picking. That's really my only point here. He didn't dig for some random deep saber metric stat. He used on base percentage. No one is saying that the White Sox will remain this poor. They're merely pointing out how poor they have been to this point. Which is fair.Psh...White Sox will be a top offensive team come year's end...Top 10 minimum...probably top 5. And if they were in a division with those other 3 teams mentioned in that sh*t tweet would win it by an insane margin. Whether cherry picking or apple picking or butt picking, it's misleading as hell. Shark jumping 101.
Yolbert Sanchez may make it to the White Sox this season. He may be the reason why the Sox found Madrigal expendable. He is also a top fielder.A teammate of Luis Robert on a Cuban 18-and-under squad before he defected, Sanchez has exceeded offensive expectations since signing for $2.5 million in July 2019. His compact right-handed swing and contact-oriented approach yielded a .308 average in 2021, including a .342 mark following a late-July promotion to Double-A, and he’s presently pacing the Double-A Southern League in hitting (.353) and on-base percentage (.507).
I'm sure Bummer's injury is legit, but he was possibly a candidate for demotion regardless. The man has some good stuff, but he needs to find it again. I'm hoping they give him an extensive rehab run in AAA once he's back on the mound.White Sox activate 3B Moncada, reliever Kelly
The Chicago White Sox activated third baseman Yoan Moncada and new reliever Joe Kelly from the injured list, the team announced on Monday.www.espn.com
