The Giants have 7 games left on this homestand and it looks like Sabean will wait until the very end of the trade deadline to make up his mind on what he will do. The next 7 games might decide which direction the Giants will go this year. Every game is huge from here on out.

Giants had a chance to sweep the D-Backs after Gaudin and Cain won the first two games of the opening series of the second half but on Sunday they were flat at the plate wasting a awesome performance by All Star Madison Bumgarner. Bad baserunning and judgement cost them some but the fact is the Giants could not score off Delgado and time whittled away until time ran out . The Giants must show more urgency to win those type of games or some of them might be headed out of town traded by Sabean.

The Giants have what it takes to get it done it's just a matter of pulling all facets of the game together at once , playing loose, and playing for each other.

Tim Lincecum goes tonight in his first start since his No - Hitter in San Diego. It should be rock N' tonight at the yard and a standing ovation awaits Tim Lincecum before he toes the rubber. I know I will be standing and clapping for him. It's still 25 men playing together with one common goal...to win today.

Go Giants !!

Final notes.... Brian Wilson sighting at USF in SF throwing off the mound. Teams are starting to get ready to look at him including the Giants. It would be great to see him back for the September run but it may all come down to his salary demands and who ponies up the most cash. Also Carlos Pena was just released who has some pop and would be a nice guy to have off the bench.

Brian Wilson threw again yesterday at USF with Rags there standing in the batters box . Andrew Baggerly reported that Wilson threw 93-94 MPH with good velocity and looks almost ready to show teams what he has. The Giants seem interested but at what price are they willing to pay. Good to see B-Weezy throwing the rock again.

Go Get em' Brian !
