I'm not dinging Rapp as I think he's going to be an above average SS at the NFL level for over a decade. From what I've observed he appears to be a guy who can play all over the field at the CFB level, but I wouldn't trust him as a free safety in a cover-3 base defense where the FS essentially plays centerfield.

He's all around a great player and excelled in the Husky defense all around the field, but I see him as a guy who will be a great run defender and terrific in zone coverage as a SS. If you put him at FS, you take him out of the box and take away form of his greatest strengths and he could be a slight liability if he's playing FS in cover 3. He has excellent instincts, but I don't believe he has the athleticism to really cover that much ground.

Ya'll got a great player, he'll be an excellent SS and can probably hold up at FS if he is asked to do so, but he's a better fit at SS.

Hopefully our front 7 is really good which will make him look even better

Not a chance. Not even a first rounder in the bunch.
Hope Rapp does good for my Rams though.

He's a great fit with Eric Weddle playing over the top. Really nice addition for you guys. Adding Weddle and Rapp really helps you guys. Those two have a ridiculous amount of football IQ. If Marcus Peters learns how to play consistently, the Rams will once again have a ridiculous amount of talent on defense.

In order to be DBU, you must have a 1st rounder. Like Jalen Ramsey or Derwin James.

Not saying FSU is DBU anymore but come on Warshington.

UW is kicking fvcking ass in the DBU dept.

Unfortunately for my Seahawks, he will be good for ya'll.

At worst I see him as a league average SS. At best he's a borderline Pro-Bowler. He's a high floor, low ceiling type player. I don't think he'll be a superstar in the NFL, but I anticipate he'll be a really reliable player for you guys. He will step in and contribute immediately.

There are criticisms of his athleticism, but he plays much faster on tape. He's more quick than fast, but you're never going to see him out of position or make a mistake.

All these draft picks and UW has nothing to show for it other than a Heart of Dallas bowl win.
Two conference championships, highest rated GPA in the conference and a trip to the CFP along with a couple of NY6 bowls ... and all this was accomplished without Washington's HC murdering a student cameraman.

McClellin, Martin, Wilson, and Clady were all while he was at Boise State. Shouldn't count for the UW totals
Those are 1st round draft picks that played for Petersen.

Washington can definitely coach up some DB’s. Hoping for a similar effect from Grinch and Manning in Norman.

Cute...but I thought we were talking about DB's...Saban has had 7 DB first rounders.

Wait, we aren't even talking about Washington First Rounders....LOL, GTFO with that Bullshit. Shit, Saban has like 35 then.

So what you are saying is that Saban and Petersen had 14 1st and 2nd rounders in their first 5 years...but Saban won 3 National Championships...and pushed in Washington's shit in their only CFP appearance...and here I thought you were trying to say Petersen was a good coach...my bad.

Petersen might be worth a fuck if he could develop OL, a QB that could win outside the pac and a DL. But other than that he’s pretty good.

And that's not what I was saying. The graphic uses a UW logo and says most for a PAC12 coach, which he was not when they were drafted. That's all I'm getting at there

Buckeyes had 2 DB and a Safety taken in the first round and are in the discussion but still probably not DBU.
