...and so it begins.
Finally!
Will the curse be finally lifted on today's par 3 Champion?
Thinking of dropping an obscure bet just for the hell of it. If you put 20 bucks on Jacob Bridgeman it'll pay off $1800.00!
I'll ask the same thing I ask at my school. Will we be taking away cell phones 10 or 20 years from now? Not a chance. So why are we so hung up on the notion now?

I have hard time believing that they just saw him on his phone and then just asked him the leave.
Maybe he got a warning first or took exception to being told to put his phone away.
Either way ...that his pretty embarrassing for Calcavecchia.

.
In 10-20 years, cell phones will probably be imbedded in our brains.

P Reed with two eagles.

Augusta National is definitely one of the best golf cathedrals on the planet. If you ever get a chance to enter the grounds, do so. You will not be disappointed.
Sad but true.true true... well worth the trouble for at least one taste.
throughout the 1980s/90s we'd grab a sixpack and pop down to Augusta from Atlanta for practice rounds -especially WEDs-... parking was free, entrance was $5, beers and pimcheese sammiches were $1.50... lol... all that plus Fuzzy and Arnold and Jack?... damn... heaven was ridiculously cheap.
of course we bragged those trips up (as did, I'm sure, everybody else) until the day came that you needed to win a fùcking lottery for a fúcking practice round ticket.
Perfect conditions forecast all weekend. The commentators were predicting -11 but I think it will be at least a few strokes lower if it stays like this. Rory is leading at -5 with a couple of holes to go and Scottie is already -3 thru 5. It appears he may have shaken off his first round blues.. that could be bad news for the rest of the field
Disagree. I'd take -12 to win as of this morning. With complete control over water this week they can make that place a MFer.
Speaking of this morning, my man Bridge is sitting pretty at -1 with a walk off chip in on 18. The thing about a silly bet like this is that you just enjoy how far along you get until it's an impossibility. At this point he's simply not going to win but still he could. If he shoots a 78 today it'll all be over. If he shoots a 68 I'll be in the same place tomorow morning.
