Apparently Kuminga is either delusional, very bad at math, or both. Signing with the Wolves for 6.5M per for 2 years with a player option on the 2nd year. Lakers reportedly were offering a 3 year deal starting at $12.5M with a player option on the 3rd year. When he opts out next summer, he will need to get at least $20M per to have that decision make any sense.

Needs a new agent.

Typically, I like players who have the confidence to bet on themselves...but there's a point where you have to accept what teams feel you're worth. He's supposedly trying to get to $25-30 million per...but he apparently turned down a 3 year $75 million offer a season or 2 ago. So now, he's trying to get back to that kind of offer...but he's not getting that money back.

I agree that under the current situation, I wouldn't want him om the Lakers, he might be more interested in trying to get a big contract than winning basketball games.

Another recent scenario is sending the Bucks Vanderbilt, Knecht, and LaRavia for Kuzma and another player. Reunion seems to be in the LA water these days!

Williams making a strong case to be the 5th starter with AR, Luka, Grimes and Kessler.

JJ has told him they need defense, he working on that and he has added some weight also. Was 185 which is light, he is apparently up to 215 more befitting of somebody 6-9.

Also while his 34.9% on 3's isn't great....he was 43.8% on uncontested treys. He will get open looks with those other guys in the starting lineup.

I see Mamu getting a lot of backup mpg at 4 and the 5. Prolly 25-28mpg.

Kings would receive: Jarred Vanderbilt, Jake LaRavia, Dalton Knecht, 2022 second-round pick (via WAS)!
