I think you may mean Rob has directed Redick not to play him, DJ. Maybe Walter needs to step in and direct this mess that has gotten to epic proportions of crazy!

I very seriously doubt that happened.

Disagree. Enough of this kicking the can down the road stuff. They made their picks for fits around Luka and made their moves. Whether or not they're the right guys we'll find out by next summer.

Additionally, having cap space for 2027 off-season has been part of the plan. So far, getting AR to sign for $5 million less will give them the full MLE next year...and we'll see what other moves can be made to free up more space next off-season.

This current team will have a "punchers chance" at a title. They're not true contenders yet, but on paper at least, they're better than last year...so it's a step in the right direction.

39% for Mamu from 3 last year without guys like Luka and AR getting him wide open looks. The big difference in shooting is the midrange, which Manu does not attempt (he's virtually all paint or 3s). Rui didn't maintain his current level of shooting until he hit LA.

And he maintained it because teams had Luka, Lebron and AR to deal with, so he got a lot of open looks.

Theoretically, Luka, AR and Kessler should help Mamu the same way. Hopefully, we'll see similar results.

43.5 wins is the projected win totals for the Lakers next season.

About what I expected when I said we prolly looking at 43-44 wins after our FA.

They just had a really cold 3 pt shooting game. The score was tight throughout and they lost a close game despite that awful 3 pt display.

Thybulle was a good addition and the Lakers should stop chasing Kuminga when they have Arthur Kaluma who is better than Kuminga and costs the Lakers nothing except a 2-way contract!

Good news! Kaluma has earned a 2-way contract!

After being one of the best performers during the Summer League, Arthur Kaluma is being rewarded with a roster spot on the Lakers.

The Lakers have agreed to terms with Kaluma on a two-way contract, a source confirmed to the California Post on Monday after ESPN first reported the addition.

The Lakers will have to open up a two-way slot to make room for the signing of Kaluma.

Chris Manon, Peter Suder and AK Okereke were occupying the Lakers' two-way spots before Monday.

Suder and Okereke will be cut to make room for Kaluma!! Excellent signing for the Lakers!

Looks like the Lakers roster is pretty much complete. Kuminga is history and not needed with the signings of Thybulle, Kaluma, and Williams!!

Kaluma is a project, I don't think he is better than Kuminga. But, he is cheaper.....but better?

Nah.

So, LeBron left the Lakers and $50M to sign with the Sixers at $4M?

And he thinks the 76ers are a better team than him teamed with Luka and Reaves? Could’ve given the Lakers that discount and they would still have the same signing and a better team overall.

Maybe a true proposal, maybe more click bait!

Now that LeBron has found a destination with the Philadelphia 76ers, a decision for Bronny will have to follow. There is no current plan or request for Bronny to join his father in Philadelphia. However, things can change in the coming days or weeks as the Lakers can hope to gain something in return.

In a proposed multi-team trade, the Milwaukee Bucks would receive Jarred Vanderbilt and Dalton Knecht from Los Angeles. The Sixers would then land Bronny. The Denver Nuggets would acquire Kevin Porter Jr. from Philadelphia.

The Lakers get Cameron Johnson from Denver to complete the trade. This proposal means that Bronny would reunite with his father!
