Williams gonna give Thiero some competition but I think Thiero needs to be the 1st wing off the bench. I really like him but Williams gives us some depth.

I think it is time for Walters to step in and shut-down Pelinka from signing anymore FAs until they see what they have with present signees and the host of young players in the Summer League some of whom are better than this Williams, Nets cast-off!

As of now, Kaluma is a better player than Williams on both ends of the court and so is Thiero. It seems Pelinka is starting to scrape the bottom of the FA barrel just to sign players for “depth” when he has depth players who are younger and better playing in the Summer League! The only thing they don’t have that Williams has is extensive NBA experience!!

Anti-Mamu I see. He's capable of doing more than Rui, who was basically just a shooter. Apparently he agreed with the Clips at the start of free agency.

What other center did you want to sign? The only other respectable free agent was Richards, and we don't know what his demands are. Plus, Looney had a good mentor relationship with Kuminga with the Warriors, could be very useful if the land Kuminga.

I think you're over-valuing Rui's defense, but that's just opinions. They both average about 3.7 rebounds per game over their careers. The difference is Rui gets twice the number of minutes per year, so about half that rebounding rate. Mamu is much more of a creator and ball mover than Rui.

39% for Mamu from 3 last year without guys like Luka and AR getting him wide open looks. The big difference in shooting is the midrange, which Manu does not attempt (he's virtually all paint or 3s). Rui didn't maintain his current level of shooting until he hit LA.
