It is that time of the year for the beginning of the Lakers 2024-2025 NBA Season with a Preseason camp coming at the end of next week. Roster development still is a top concern for J.J. Redick. Adding the true Center of Koloko was a good move but keeping the pieces they had before Redick taking over. Redick has plenty of young talent to develop and the Lakers do not need to add anymore players from nowhere. Keeping Russell will be the immediate focus but if he gets traded by the February deadline, Redick appears to have a plan. We shall see how this year goes.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Missing on Jonas (and maybe Trent) were the real misses. Interested to see what Koloko can do, currently waiting on the NBA to clear him to play.

I don't know what Rob's plan was here. They seemed to do jack in free agency. Whether that was on purpose or not, we'll see.

I like the idea of not disrupting the team too much though.

Not much you can do when all the player options were picked up, filling the roster along with the two draft picks. Asking prices for trades have been predatory, and they haven't seen fit to use draft capital to dump a player to open a roster spot yet.
