Can't remember. Right in line with the others.

By far the best streaming services in my opinion.
It’s the only one I dont have. But I don’t order anything from Amazon. If I did, it would probably be a no-brainer.

How much is Prime per month?

$10.99 per month or $99 for a year.

Not a bad deal considering the deals you get on purchases, shipping, and all the streaming content the video side.

The companies that are doing streaming well right now are making money by the truckloads. Also been mentioned that Disney is planning a Star Wars tv series to launch their own streaming service.

CBS is attracting a lot of subs to it's new service with the new Star Trek series which is reported to be very good.

yeah, i don't know what led me to get prime, only got it in this past year, but it wasn't for the streaming service or free online books, but I can't complain with the value I've got out of it. Ordered a random game or other product and the savings paid for it just with that. I do wish they had a better system of letting you know if a movie in your queue was going away or a better system to look for movies you'd like to watch. Just the Rifftrax movies alone make it worth my while.

I had missed that this was the logo.
Using the inscription on The One Ring is pretty meh, imo, but the first promo image more than compensates for it.
Holy crap.

Wow. 250 million to lock up global rights and projected that the budget will be the most expensive in history, completely eclipsing what occurred with the later seasons of GOT. 5 season series that will take place as a prequel to events of fellowship of the ring. It could end up costing 1 billion as a project.

Will Amazon's 'Lord of the Rings' Series Be TV's Most Expensive Show of All Time?
I read the books and watched Peter Jackson's trilogy. This would be redundant. Pass.

The Hobbit was foul. Couldn't even watch the 1st one.

There were certainly parts of that trilogy that were decent. For some reason I liked the Desolation of Smaug. But otherwise a bloated mess.

I don't think I ever watched any of the films fully again.

He filmed it in that high frame rate and it seemed skittery.

When all the dwarfs were hustling about underground and were beset upon by billions of orcs it just looked like an anthill.
