I put this on last night but fell alseep not long into it. It was mostly just a bunch of frenetic action and chase scenes the bits I watched. A movie with those 3 as lead actors could be fun, but what I watched was pretty tedious. Does it get any better?

Not really ha. Much of the same.

Reynolds is pretty great as usual at what he does.

Gal is good to look at but she’s pretty trash as an actress.

And yeah, it was really your classic Rock film.

Just watched “The Humans” on Showtime.

It is billed as a family celebrating Thanksgiving while something odd is occurring outside. I was expecting some kind of Signs type of movie.

It wasn’t anything like that. It was just a family having dinner. That’s it. Nothing weird going on outside. Just dinner. Nothing happens.

107 minutes I will never get back. Absolute waste of fucking time.

It is absolutely something critics would love. It is basically a play on screen. But it was sold as something it isn’t.

I'll have to check it out.

Last film I saw was The Witch: 3.5/5 stars. 2015 horror/psychological drama film. I enjoyed it- very creepy scenery out in the woods.

I'm going to watch the Peter Jackson remix of the Beatles going away movie.

I remember watching the original on network TV.

It’s an adaptation of the directors play so that part makes sense at least.

Movie definitely looks like a bore

Attica, an HBO documentary about the 1971 prison riot and subsequent massacre. I'd forgotten many of the details and just how much of a clusterfuck it was, with law enforcement slaughtering 28 inmates and 10 of the 42 hostages while retaking the prison.. A difficult but worthy watch. 9/10

Saw News of the World on HBO free weekend.

Sort of the typical Tom Hanks movie being a decent human being but he's good at it. It's a Western with a post-Civil war setting with a good amount of decent action too. A good movie overall.

Between the afternoon games and the night game I watched Top Gun again.

I found it on Netflix and it was the best version audio wise I'd ever come across. My DVD had shit sound.

I know the movie is cheesy, but I love banging and booming and jets.

Seen 1/2 the Beatles thing so far, finish it up Tuesday night. Interesting.

The French Connection: A
Cool Hand Luke: B+

Why no A for Cool Hand Luke? Just curious why it fell a bit short for you.. it's one of my all-time favorites.

It was a little aimless. If the French Connection was an A, there had to be a little separation between the two. I also wonder if it had been nearly as revered if someone other than Newman was in it.
