Saw Onward.

It's good. Similar structure to Ratatouille in that it's a slow build with a simple story. I feel like something this human needs to be a live action. It'd be like Back to the Future as a Pixar film. It loses a little something.

B+

The Kitchen. Crime thriller where the wives of jailed criminals assume control of their hubby's criminal enterprises. Then they get out and want to resume control. Crime family wars & various hijinks ensue. I watched it with my wife, who'd seen it before and said it was really good. She was wrong. Don't bother.

What a loser of a human being Zuckerberg is. Not that entertaining of a movie, which vindicated my ten year wait to watch it.

Did remind me of the day at work when a guy came up and asked, "Smitty, do you still have your WMU email?" Good times...

Just watched Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker. It wasn’t as bad as I expected but still glad that I didn’t bother going to theaters to see it. To me, Star Wars ended with Return of the Jedi.

Nah.

Had a couple Classes in that building though. Was in the College of Education.

And worked for CollegeClubDotCom for about a year. 99-00. You remember that social media platform?
Nope. I was an older student. Wasn’t involved in the social scene. Never actually stepped foot in the dorms or went to a sporting event.

You're lucky. Cuz I'd have shoved a lot of lame swag at you if you had. Lol

This explains why you lived in the "nice" apartments.

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot

if you go in understanding and expecting that this is not an award movie, genre shifting piece of art, you might come out with a few smiles.

It is basically Kevin Smith jerking off onto cellulose. If you love the Clerks-verse, you will be mildly entertained by this movie. If you are either not aware of the Clerks-verse, or you dislike it, skip this movie.

4/10 (but the BEST 4/10 movie ever made)
That movie sucked bad. Shockingly bad, and i loved Dogma and J&SB strike back...

In talking to a friend who had never seen the Robbie Coltrane Cracker series I discovered they are all on Youtube and indecent format.

Likely going to start watching those again. Gritty and compelling.

Kalifornia. Brad Pitt & Juliette Lewis as a serial killer and his gf on a ride share/road trip to CA with a couple who oddly enough is studying serial killers for a book. I missed the first several minutes so not sure exactly how they hooked up or whether that was a coincidence. In any case, Pitt is amazing as the serial killer and Lewis is also great as his abused dim-bulb gf. The other 2 are just meh.. David Duchovny is the book author. Worth a watch if only for performances of Pitt & Lewis. 7/10

Lenny.....I had never seen it. I thought it was pretty good, loved the part where is lawyer had the people on the stand to repeat the words he was on trial for saying.

Oh, and I forgot how hot Valerie Perinne was.
