Who gets the last #1 seed if Tennessee loses to Auburn and Michigan State loses to Michigan?

Seems to me that Virginia, Duke, and UNC get the other #1's.

Seems to be the short list is the following?
Gonzaga
Tennessee
Kentucky
Michigan State
Michigan

Gonzaga getting a #1 seed with a 4-3 record versus Quadrant 1 teams is a joke.

MSU having more Quad 1 wins than any team and then being the #2 seed in Duke's bracket is even worse.

We might as well just play walkons at the conference tournament going forward.

I think the committee actually mixed up the 2 teams but are too embarrassed to admit it. There's no reason for UM to have an easier draw than MSU.

I still don't get unc over Kentucky. Identical records and similar metrics. UNC's essentially best two wins came against a short handed team. Kentucky easily beat them on a neutral court.

Oh well. Their paths potentially cross.

Sure I get that but that's usually only when it can't be avoided. This was as easy as just following their S curve. I bitch as an Iowa fan but the team that's actually getting screwed is Tennessee . They're supposed to be a protected seed but could end up playing a de facto road game in the R32. All the committee had to do was place the team ( Wofford ) in the pod they were supposed to be in anyway and all this would've been avoided

Yep but none of the teams on the 8/9 line apparently got punished . Oklahoma lost to WVU, Baylor got smoked , VCU lost to Rhode Island , Washington got crushed by Oregon and Iowa has a better resume than all those teams before the conference tourneys so not sure how losing to Michigan is worse than those losses
