I think the media has given everyone PTSD regarding certain players. Most people joked that Tebow's position was TE coming out. He got his chance to be a QB and it didn't work out. He'll get his chance to play TE. 90% chance this won't work out but TEs do play well into their 30s fairly often.

If anything this sideshow keeps the heat off Lawrence which doesn't seem like the worst idea ever.
